Now in our seventh year, Nana's Skate Shop provides original competition outfits, practice clothing, jackets, warm-up outfits,  boots, blades, and accessories  for the figure skating community. Creating unique wearing apparel has been a life long avocation for the founder of Nana's Skate Shop, Ann Rigo. For many years Ann created original bridal wear in her spare time.  In 1976 Ann got involved in making skating outfits when her son began his skating career in Fairfax, VA. After relocating to Atlanta GA, the sideline costume business continued. Now retired from the high tech world  of software consulting,  Ann uses her creative sewing and savvy business skills at Nana's Skate Shop.

Gary, who calls himself "just the Humble Helper" is the boots and blades expert.  Retired from teaching Mathematics at the high school level for 35 years, it was time for him to do something else.  Behind the scenes he is the purchasing, packaging and shipping department for Nana's Skate Shop.  Always looking for a vendor with a better product and a better price with a close eye on the turnover; he keeps a close watch on the bottom line.  Gary did this web site. He says it's his first and only web site!

Fabrics used to create our garments are purchased in limited quantities to assure our clothing items are truly original.  We promise to never make a custom competition outfit  for other clients exactly the same as the one we create for you.  We make sure your one and only garment fits properly and is just what you always wanted!
